CONSULER CORNER 

I teach lessons in each classroom multiple times/year. Some examples of lessons I give are: inclusion, empathy, kindness, conflict management, growth mindset, bullying, stress management, career exploration, personal safety and many more based on the needs of the students.

School counselors work to maximize student success and create a school culture of success for all. There are many reasons why students and families might request to see me including: 

  • Social skills or friendship problems

  • Coping with feelings

  • Family changes or home stress

  • Behavior concerns

  • Resources or referrals
