Before and After School Child Care

The goal for our Before and After School Programs is for your child to feel welcome, safe and nurtured. Our programs provide a cheerful, safe and convenient environment for students, as well as an opportunity for them to be with other children and keep the fun of the school day going!

Kids’ Club serving St. Benedict School Students in Preschool and Prekindergarten.

This afternoon program is open from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Kids’ Club Program is also available for some noon dismissal days and school closure days, subject to availability based on enrollment. When students arrive they begin their afternoon with lunch and recess. These are followed by a daily quiet time during which students can read or rest (many of our students start the year napping during this time). There is plenty of time in the afternoon for snack, daily activities, and more time outside.

The Extended Day Program serving St. Benedict Catholic School students in Kindergarten through age 12.

This program is open in the morning from 7:00 am to 8:20 am and in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Wednesday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm). The Extended Day Program is also available for some noon dismissal days and school closure days, subject to availability based on enrollment.

In the morning (7:00 – 8:20): The Extended Care Program provides a welcoming and cozy place before school. We provide a healthy breakfast as well as a space for students to study or enjoy games, crafts, and Legos.

In the afternoon (3:00 – 6:00): Students are given a chance to enjoy the playground and get out energy before coming inside to share a hearty, healthy snack. After these initial activities students are broken into groups then enjoy crafts, fun activities, and time for homework.

St. Benedict Summer Camp serving students in Kindergarten through age 12.

For approximately 8 weeks each summer, St. Benedict Catholic School offers Summer Camp programs.  With a different weekly focus, these summer camps give the students time on campus to play, complete arts and crafts projects, and enjoy time with friends.  Each week also includes chances for the students to explore the city with several trips to various locations.

Registration for Summer Camp typically opens each spring around Easter Break.  Space is limited, so keep yours eyes out for the registration materials.
