Scrip and eScrip Fundraising Programs

Scrip and eScrip provide two simple and easy ways to raise money for St. Benedict School. There is no cost to use either program.

Scrip: How it works

Scrip is a gift card or gift certificate issued by many stores in our community where you regularly shop (see the bottom of this page). St. Benedict School purchases these gift cards at a discount and sells them to you at face value. The school gets a percentage of the scrip value ranging from 3% to 25%. These gift cards and gift certificates can be used like cash to purchase anything from groceries, clothing, books, toys, and gas to dining and home improvement goods.

There are two easy ways to purchase Scrip:

Stop by the Scrip table across from the School Office on Wednesday and Friday mornings; or after mass every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
Download and print our Scrip Order Form (PDF). (Order forms are also provided in the weekly Thursday envelopes.) Fill out the order form, make your check payable to St. Benedict Scrip, and bring the form to the Office (or to the Scrip table on a day when Scrip is being sold). Please keep in mind that orders for items not in stock will require 7 to 10 days to fulfill.

eScrip: How it works

eScrip is another simple and easy way to raise money for St. Benedict, particularly if purchasing scrip doesn't fit into your schedule. eScrip contributes a percentage of your grocery loyalty card, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to our school. All you need to do is register one or more (or all!) of your cards with eScrip for use in the program at the secure eScript website: http://www.escrip.com/. Every purchase you make will benefit the school at no extra cost to you. Be sure to include the St. Benedict group number: 8566846.
